Job Summary

The jobholder is responsible for providing mortuary services within the hospital.

Key Duties

  • Responsible for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling patient appointments, procedures, and consultations, ensuring accurate and updated calendars.
  • Maintaining, organizing, and updating confidential patient medical records, charts, histories, and other essential documentation in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including answering telephones, taking messages, relaying information between medical staff, patients, and other departments, and handling correspondence (emails, letters).
  • Serve as the administrative head of the hospital
  • Provide general administrative support to doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, which can include typing and transcribing medical reports, preparing documents, managing diaries, and assisting with meeting arrangements.

Education

A minimum of Bachelor in social sciences
