Job Summary
The jobholder is responsible for dispensing drugs in the pharmaceutical outlets and performing drug audits.
Key Duties
- Dispense drugs, patient counselling and other related activities to ensure proper use of drugs.
- Inspect pharmaceutical outlets within the health centre to ensure proper storage of drugs.
- Monitor adverse drug reaction on patients based on reports received by them and other health care personnel.
- Carry out drug audit in Pharmaceutical outlets within the health centre for quality and proper inventory of drugs.
- Maintain storage areas to ensure safekeeping of pharmaceuticals.
Requirements
Education
A minimum of Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. A Minimum of provisional License
Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of clinical operations and procedures;
- Interpersonal skills;
- People Management Skills;
- Computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration;
- Oral and written communication skills;
