Job Summary
To continuously analyse complex patient data, anticipate potential complications, and make rapid, sound decisions regarding anaesthesia management. This includes evaluating patient physiological responses, interpreting diagnostic tests, and adjusting anesthetic plans in real-time.
Key Duties
- Assessing patients, developing individualized anaesthesia plans, and obtaining informed consent.
- Administering anaesthesia, continuously monitoring vital signs, adjusting dosages, managing airways, and responding to emergencies during surgery.
- Guiding patient emergence from anaesthesia, monitoring recovery, providing post-operative pain management, and documenting care.
- Managing equipment, collaborating with healthcare teams, and providing specialized care or administrative duties as needed.
- Assessing patients, developing individualized anaesthesia plans, and obtaining informed consent.
Requirements
Education
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Medicine with specialty in Optometry from an accredited institution.
