Job Summary
The jobholder is responsible for performing imaging examination and interpreting the images to diagnose illnesses and injuries.
Key Duties
- Conduct x-ray for diagnostic purposes.
- Determine radioactive dose levels for quality control and quality assurance.
- Perform routine inspection of equipment to ensure effective performance.
- Keep up-to-date with current techniques in radiographic and imaging procedures.
Requirements
Education
A minimum of Diploma Radiography, or related discipline from a recognized institution.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in using advanced medical imaging software and diagnostic equipment;
- Good communication skills;
- Basic knowledge of various medical imaging modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to interpret complex data;
- Excellent patient care skills;
- Efficient organisational and time management skills.
