Job Summary

The jobholder is responsible for assisting in providing effective and efficient clinical/health and safety care that enhances the well-being of patients.

Key Duties

• Provide basic nursing care to compliment healthcare delivery in accordance with the appropriate professional nursing standard.
• Check record on chart, the vital signs of all patients in the ward as scheduled and monitor closely patients with severe disease conditions.
• Assist in the provision of safe motherhood services which includes antenatal, delivery, post-natal and referrals.
• Record and maintain health data and make available to appropriate officials.
• Participate in quality improvement activities (e.g. promoting family planning, immunization etc.)
