Job Summary
The jobholder is responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repair of medical equipment to ensure effective operation and use.
Key Duties
- Install, repair and maintain medical equipment to ensure high quality treatment for patients.
- Conduct inspections to identify equipment and materials that need repairs or to be disposed and inform management for prompt action.
- Provide technical advice and support to medical personnel to ensure proper use of medical equipment.
Requirements
Education
A minimum of Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent organisational and management skills;
- Knowledge of biomedical equipment and systems;
- Excellent attention to detail;
